Contentcrooner Review – Mass Article Submission Service
If you are doing article marketing you are without a doubt looking for ways to get your article sent to hundreds of article directories automatically. However, there are only a few mass article submission services online that make sense.
In the past years my favorite mass article submission service has been isnare.com. The bad news is that isnare seems to be dead. I personally lost $60 and 30 articles I submitted never got distributed. I tried contacting support several times, no answer. I tried contacting 2checkout and was told that they will contact isnare. No answer.... I checked various forums and noticed that I am not alone. It seems that a lot of people have the same problem and isnare either does not distribute submitted articles at all or it takes up to 2 months for articles to get distributed. I have no idea what's going on and it is really sad to see a great service like this to go down the drain.
The second great mass article submission service has been Articlemarketer. Articlemarketer died in october 2009. The owners split and started two new companies, both offering mass article submission.
Distribute Your Articles
and
Contentcrooner
I have been a member of Contentcrooner since end of January 2010. So let's have a look at what Contentcrooner has to offer. By the way.... I am planning to join Distribute Your Articles later this month and will find out which of the services is better....
But for now let's have a look at Contentcrooner.
* "Access the most comprehensive article distribution list in the industry." ->
Contentcrooner claims to send your article to 1000s of article directories. NOT CORRECT. I have submitted well over 200 articles. In average my articles were send to 280 directories. (No matter of the niche or category / category level I chose)
However, this does not really upset me, because the article directories my articles are sent to seem to have a decent PR, because a lot of backlinks are showing up in Google pretty fast. I prefer getting my article sent to several hundred article directories than getting it out to 1000s of junk sites.
* "Say goodbye to tedious manual article submissions or "pay per piece" distribution fees." RIGHT. $39.99 a month will get you unlimited distribution - the price is perfect if you are going to send a lot of articles.
* "Submit your content now, schedule it to go out up to a year in advance." Nice Feature. This is great if you have several articles for one niche. Just set and forget.
* "Use our social media features to link your article to Twitter and more." Well, the social media feature did not really impress me. If you feel a "Twitter" button is so impressing....
* Monitor your campaign's results with easy to read Distribution and Exposure reports. The report tool is OK. You will see when your article was distributed and to which sites it was sent. You will also find a link to check how many times your article got indexed in the major search engines.
One thing that really impressed me is the fact that your article is guaranteed to be reviewed within one day. A lot of times the reviewers are even faster than that and I got articles distributed within one hour after submitting. Contentcrooner review staff is real fast!
* Contencrooner also points out that they offer ongoing distribution. So if they add new article directories to their database your article will be sent to these directories. I have been a member since end of January and submitted over 200 articles. So far not a single article got re-distributed after the first distribution to the complete list was completed, which usually takes day.
So what can you expect when joining Contentcrooner?
* Expect your article to go out to about 280 directories * You can be sure that your article will be reviewed for distribution within one day (often a lot faster than that) * You can expect that backlinks start showing up in Google within some days * Do not expect your article to be re-distributed once your initial distribution to the complete list has been completed.
So yes, I like Contentcrooner and recommend it.
