Autoblogs Linkbuilding – Automate Your Linkbuilding Completely! – My System

If you are a frequent reader of my blog you know that I love Firepow. I have been a member for over 1.5 years. I love it, because most required plugins are pre installed and the blogs get good content automatically. I can have a new blog set up within 15 minutes (time for registering a new domain included!) So after 1.5 years I still give Firepow 5 thumbs up!

This will be a rather long post. You can use this method for Firepow Autoblogs and of course for any other Autoblog or regular blog.

I recommend taking one day and spend it solely on setting up this auto linking system. The good thing is that once set up there is no maintainance and you can simply plugin new blogs.

Ok, so here we go.

1. Get The Free Only Wire Plugin For WordPress
You can download it here.
When you create a free OnlyWire account and set up your social networking site logins, OnlyWire will submit your post to all of the sites simultaneously. OnlyWire does all of the submission behind the scenes on behalf of you. So download the plugin, install it on your WordPress blog and register with the 34 bookmarking sites.

Ever new post will now get posted to all of the 34 bookmarking sites automatically.

2. Webtraffic Genius WordPress Plugin

I really like Web Traffic Genius Software and if there is some way you can spend $97 then DO IT! It's a must have for anyone building Autoblogs!

What Does Webtraffic Genius Do? Whenever a new post is created, the Webtraffic Genius WordPress Plugin auto-creates an RSS feed and submits it to the 20 largest Rss Aggregators on autopilot. You can even add your own Aggregators and add extra feeds. You can install the plugin on UNLIMITED Domains. So you only have to pay ONCE.

Every new post will get submitted to 20+ Rss Aggregators on Autopilot!

3. Join Twitterfeed (It's free)
Join Twitterfeed here. Twitterfeed will send your website's blog entries to Twitter, Statusnet network sites and Facebook.

Ping.FM - Ignore this one for Twitterfeed, because this feature is currently DISABLED
Hellotxt - Ignore this one as well... I do not like it, because they do not offer API for anyone anymore

So you may want to create accounts (or use existing ones) on:

Twitter
Facebook
Statusnet (there are some other servers running the Statusnet software. However, out of all sites listed on the page, only 4 are worth joining. Of course you can check them yourself and join if you think it is worth it...)

So you will have to join:

http://identi.ca/
http://www.pbj.ca
http://www.bleeper.de
http://www.microdeo.de

Once you have joined these sites  - (it is recommended to join some groups and follow some people. Why? Because a lot of member's profile sites and group sites have high PR. If you follow them your username is listed on their profile page and thus search engines will arrive at your blog much faster) - it is time to add your blogs RSS feed into Twitterfeed.

Once you added your Rss feed click "Continue to Step 2". In step two you will see a list of Available Services.

Click on Twitter. Add your Twitter login
Click on Facebook. Add your Facebook login
Click on Status net. Enter

Status Net Server:
identi.ca
add your username and password. Ignore the other fields.

Click "Update Service"

Now add another Statusnet Service by clicking the "Available Services: Statusnet" button once again.
This time enter:
Status Net Server:
bleeper.de
add your username and password. Ignore the other fields.

Do the same thing again for the other two networks
Status Net Server:
microdeo.de

Status Net Server:
pbj.ca

Click "All Done"

OK! Great! Now whenever a new post is posted on your Blog, Twitterfeed grabs your Rss feed and sends a short version of your post to: Twitter, Facebook, Identi.ca, Bleeper.de, Microdeo.de, and bbj.ca
4. Join Ping.Fm (it is free)
Join Ping.fm here. Ping.fm will send a summary of your blog post to 35 (!!!) Microblogging and Blog sites on Autopilot:

Twitter, Facebook, Google Buzz, MySpace, Ning, AIM Status, LinkedIn, Tumblr, Identi.ca, Brightkite, Plurk, FriendFeed, Jaiku, Blogger, Bebo, hi5, Xanga, WordPress.com, Custom URL, Delicious, Koornk, YouAre, Multiply, Yammer, Flickr, StatusNet, Vox, ShoutEm, StreetMavens, myYearbook, Posterous, Photobucket, Posting
Yahoo Profiles,Tagged

So once you have joined Ping.Fm, sign up for all of the services.

Once done, a summary of EVERY blog post will automatically go out to 35 Web 2.0 sites.
5. Feed Ping.FM - Hootsuite.com

Of course you will have to auto-feed your Ping.fm account with your blog posts. Ping.fm did some changes with their Api recently. So as of now NONE of the Ping.Fm wordpress plugin works anymore and also Twitterfeed stopped posting to them. The only solution I found is hootsuite.com

a. Get an account at Hootsuite.com
b. Hotsuite will post your blogs Rss feed to

Ping.fm, Facebook, Linkedin, any WordPress blog, Myspace and Foursquare

So create an account at all of these sites. (The easiest way to do this is from inside your hootsuite.com account!)

6. Posterous

Join Posterous here. Posterous is another service that will autofeed Web 2.0. If you have a look at your Ping.fm, account you will notice that they will autosubmit to Posterous. The disadvantage is that only a very short snippet will get sent. This is why I recommend getting the Posterous WordPress Plugin: "Posterize"

Posterous will post to:

Statusphere, Facebook, Facebook Page, Twitter, LinkedIn, FriendFeed, Jaiku, Plurk, Identica, Blogs, Blogger, Tumblr, Livejournal, Shopify, Typepad, Xanga, WordPress, MovableType, Drupal, Other blog, Flickr, Picasa, YouTube, Vimeo, Viddler, Blip.tv, Scribd,  Wordpress, Typepad , Movable Type, Xanga, Squarespace
Xanga

Of course you can choose the services you want to have sent a snippet of your new blog post to.

The WordPress Plugin automatically sends your blog post to posterous which will then send it to the services you have chosen. On Autpilot.

7. Google Reader
Google Reader will also send your blog updates to several Web 2.0 sites. I have listed it here, because it can send it to two other Web 2.0 sites, the other services cannot send to.

Orkut and Instapaper.

How to do it? Add your feed to Google Reader. Once done click on "Settings" and Choose "Send To". You will see a list of Web 2.0 sites. Choose the ones you like.

8. WordPress Plugin: CrossPress
If the services above are still not enough and you want to have more, you might want to try the WordPress Plugin Crosspress. Get Crosspress here.
Automatically, cross-posting to associated site/blog to enabling the post-via-email option with PIN code e.g. multiply.com, livejournal.com, blogspot.com or even other wordpress-base site and much more

The system above is a really powerful way of getting backlinks for Autoblogs on Autopilot. The good thing is, you only have to set it up once and after that you are done. Whenever you create a new blog, just plug it in!

I guess some of you may ask: won't this hurt my blog? Doesn't duplicate content spread all over the web hurt my site?

First: Onlywire Autobookmarking won't hurt
Second: Web Trafficgenius Rss Feed submission won't hurt.
Third: Ping.Fm,Twitterfeed, Microblogging links won't hurt. These are only short updates of your blog posts. The benefit of Microblogging sites is that they have high PR, thus will get your posts crawled and indexed by the search engines fast. In addition you may get some traffic as well.
Fourth: A short summary of your recent blog post with a link back to your site won't hurt as well. The whole system is meant to:

A.) Get your new blog posts crawled and indexed by the search engines FAST
B.) Get some nice backlinks (I know, most of the Microblogging sites are no-follow, however you will note that your posts still get indexed by Google etc. They only do not pass on PR juice!)
c.) Attract Web 2.0 Traffic.

I have used this system for several weeks now and I see a real good increase in traffic.
